I'm attempting to build my first personal site here, so I'm going to be approaching this slowly and making a lot of mistakes. This place WILL look bad for a while, and tbh I'm okay with that.
As for what I intend to host here once I'm "done," I'm not 100% certain yet. I'd like to put my various ttrpgs out somewhere where people can find them for free, but I'm also a writer, and with that comes a few additional uses for this kind of thing. For example, I could list my publications on my site, and I could also use it for writing I've found difficult to publish in the past.
This sort of question really matters to me for a couple reasons, because as someone who does work in the public sphere (and would like to do so more frequently!) I *do* have to be somewhat concerned with image. Do I let me public persona be as goofy and casual as I would want from a Neocities site? Do I have a separate website for more professional-looking stuff and keep this one silly? Or do I be boring and just only have a professional site (probably not). It remains to be seen.
As for other ideas, idk, tea reviews???
